I’ve got a feeling - this week’s going to be a good week….
- Chairman of Market Harborough Business Club and friend of Many Hands Make, Steve Castledine, was interviewed on Harborough FM. We tried to record his promotion of MHBC but guess what – BT Business Broadband dropped out half way though the interview - aaaahhhh. The funniest thing was me trying to tune the radio to Harborough FM in a scramble. Harborough FM have kindly promised a recording.
- I foolishly made an appointment to order new varifocal sunglasses – heralding the advent of driving rain. Sorry everyone.

There is an English Proverb which says ‘great oaks from little acorns grow’ and that is certainly true in our case. From a very basic idea after a conversation with someone that needed holiday cover for their business, Many Hands Make was born.
We would like to thank all our clients, past and present, for helping us to make Many Hands Make – your Virtual Office a success.

Race for Life 2010
On 10th July 2010 Pat and Rachel from Many Hands Make, your virtual office and Rachel’s 13 year old daughter Samantha are walking 10 kilometres (yes 10!) in the Race for Life in memory of our dads, Derek Bradley and Ken Duncombe, who we lost last year to cancer and to raise funds for Cancer Research UK to help all those still fighting the disease. We are asking all our friends, clients and favourite people for sponsorship. We would be so grateful for any amount, no matter how little, and ask that you follow this link to our fundraising page:-

Introducing our virtual office imp
Many Hands Make have gained more hands, two to be precise, belonging to Verity our virtual office imp. Verity reveals herself when she gets bored, just to cause a bit of mischief and keep Pat and Rachel on their toes.
This week went along normally – Pat preparing management accounts, Rachel out on Tuesday minuting a meeting then on Wednesday starting a database cleansing project at a client’s premises. Verity thought that was too quiet, so on Thursday when Pat and Rachel went to visit Mike and Paul at MP Accountants she caused the navigator to miss Lamport Manor entirely and they drove to Old before turning back. Not too much disruption as coffee was still available. Although Many Hands Make….. your virtual office and MP Accountants (clients are people not commodities) have no clients in common they like to keep in touch and share local information and events.
So on Friday, with the prospect of spending all day alone with Pat while Rachel continued her database project, Verity the virtual office imp interfered with the Market Harborough Business Club breakfast meeting. The meeting started promptly in a businesslike fashion but then Verity the virtual office imp interacted with Fergus the MAD Photography fairy and wham bam alakazam it degenerated into laughing, joking, sideswiping FUN! It was so good we all undertook to meet again next Friday.
So another week over in Many Hands Make… your virtual office. Verity has not yet reappeared so no doubt the virtual office imp is plotting something for next week.
